We picked up our Theo in August 2022. He is extremely mellow, friendly and smart. Since day one, he has had the most beautiful coat of any golden puppy! He is a fan favorite at our local dog bar, Skiptown, in Charlotte NC! Everyone we run in to on our walks asks us where we found our handsome boy, and I'm always happt to point them towards Barefoot Goldens. He loves our whole family equally, LOVES little kiddos that he meets and is naturally such an easy going little guy! We absolutely adore him! Kristina was wonderful to work with, she picked him out for us as we were coming from out of state. She also gave us many 'pupdates' throughout the process, which I looked forward to every week!

I wanted to say thank you again for all you did to make the process so wonderful for us. I couldn't has asked for a better breeder and puppy.
Stella has transitioned very well at home.  At 6 months now, she is really starting to gain her personality. She is very loving, outgoing, playful, sweet and smart. She loves to play with all her toys, eat bones, and loves the boat and the lake!

She is everything you could ask for in a golden. I must say, she is the cutest puppy I have EVER seen. I receive so many compliments all the time on how beautiful of a dog she is from her face to the color of her fur I can’t tell you how many times I have given out your name because people fell in love! You should be very proud you breed beautiful dogs :)

Kristina at Barefoot Goldens has kept me informed every step of the way since Leo was born. She continually sent videos, health updates and pictures. The puppy party at 6 weeks was the happiest day of my life when I got to meet and choose my beautiful puppy. When he was 8 weeks old I got to pick him up and my family and I are totally in love with this handsome, smart, healthy and adorable dog!

It's hard to believe our grey-collared male puppy, Remy, is almost one year old! Since the day we picked him up, he has brought more joy and happiness into our lives than we ever imagined. He loves to play with his toys, enjoys playing in the sand and snow, and will do almost any trick on the planet for the smallest treat. He is the most beautiful color, and we love his consistently crimped ears. Remy loves us wholeheartedly, as we love him, and he is a very sweet, mellow, smart and happy dog. My family and I just recently purchased a Golden Retriever puppy from Barefoot Golden’s. Kristina and her family made the process so excitingand easy. We were updated weekly with how the pups were doing and even sent us videos of them playing. My three sons eagerly anticipated the weekly videos of their soon to be new puppy. Picking out our new addition was so-much fun! Kristina and her family welcomed our family of five into her home with loving arms! Kristina made sure we had all important information and start up items to make for a smooth transition. Our dog “Easton,” has brought us so much joy! He is such a love bug and loves to play with his brothers, Jake (13 ), Ben (10)  and Matthew ( 6 ). Our experience with Barefoot Golden’s has been amazing! We have developed a lasting relationship! Our little boy has been a dream come true and we are forever thankful to Kristina for providing us with a handsome, sweet, and playful Golden Retriever.

Our experience with Kristina  and Barefoot Golden's has been nothing but amazing. We have had many different types of dogs in the past our last two have been Rottweilers. I was unsure about a Golden Retriever,  because I wanted the protection for my family but I was blown away by the friendliness and the watchful eye the adult golden dogs in Kristina's home had toward everyone and everything. The ability to watch over the children was just amazing. The intelligence level that our puppy shows at four months is outstanding, she is eager to learn, please and be loved.  Her confirmation is exceptional. Just a beautiful dog.  Kristina's experience and years of breeding are in the forefront she was happy to educate and answer any of my questions. Our puppy Lacey, already has a watchful eye on our daughter, and home. A cuddle bug and play buddy that can keep up with our crazy life but yet even at her age she is alerting us to visitors or anything out of place.  I couldn't be happier with my choice to have given my five-year-old her first golden retriever puppy and I'm blessed that it came from Kristina at Barefoot Goldens!!

She kept me up to date on every move that was made, sent pictures and videos and answered all questions I had (which was a lot). My husband and I had the BEST experience working with Kristina in order to bring home our boy Rollie! We were on a wait list for a little over a year but Kristina was keeping us up to date every step of the way. We finally received the long awaited call in September of 2021 that one of her females was having a litter of 12 puppies and one had our name on it! We were completely over the moon. From that point on, Kristina sent out weekly updates through emails giving us the latest news with the puppies and making sure to always include some pictures and videos for us to see. It was very reassuring knowing how much time, effort and love Kristina put into raising her dogs, passing health clearances and making sure the dogs were ready to be placed in their new homes. There was never a doubt in our mind that we wouldn't be bringing home an amazing puppy. Kristina also always made us feel as though we could reach out to her for any reason which was and still is so important to us especially being first time Golden Retriever parents. We couldn't be more happy with our now 6 month old boy and I am already trying to convince my husand we need another one!!
